R2 Consensus Body TAC Member Application

The R2 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is established to assist the R2 Consensus Body in Developing and drafting revisions to the R2 Standard. The R2 Consensus Body is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the R2 Standard consistent with SERI’s Manual of Policies and Procedures for R2 Standard Development.

Entities Covered by the Standard – any organization that can be certified to the R2 Standard.

Customers – customers of the services provided by R2 certified electronics recyclers and refurbishers.

Regulatory/Public Interest/Other Stakeholders – entities of international, national, state or local governments and any other individual or organization that has an interest in, is materially affected by, or has special expertise regarding electronics recycling and the R2 Standard and does not fall under one of the other two interest categories.

Consensus Body(Required)

TAC members are required to participate in at least 50% of TAC Meetings. Consensus Body members are required to participate in at least 75% of TAC Meetings.  Full TAC conference calls are held once per month, with 1 to 2 in-person meetings per year.  Would you like to be considered for the Consensus Body?
