SERI Certifications Admin – India Based

Overview of the Position:
The Certifications Admin will perform a variety of operational functions to manage the day-to-day business of SERI’s Certification Department. We are looking for a very detail-oriented, highly organized, independent, and efficient professional with business management experience or formal education in the basics of multiple administrative functions of an organization including, data entry, document control, and customer service. A high level of professionalism and discretion is necessary.
The Certifications Admin is a problem solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. They think critically, understand the impacts of their decisions, multitask, and work independently. They have a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Key Outcomes of this Position:
- Supporting our processes and team as we grow our global R2 Certification program
- Successful support of all the tasks associated with the auditor, facility, and consultant training
The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility. Additional responsibilities or functions may be required as necessary to support the organization:
- Data entry and record maintenance: ~25% of time
- Certificate entry into Salesforce
- Populating information on Facility Moves – Maintaining spreadsheet
- Maintaining Auditor and Consultant list to be up to date
- Auditor Training support: ~20% of time
- ProProfs training platform management – certificates, setting up and managing classrooms
- Scheduling training, issuing reminders on payment, sending training instructions to participants, reminding them to complete Pre-Test and exam, etc.
- Tracking completion of R2v3 Course and Continuing Education Modules
- Quality assurance: ~15% of time
- Ensuring auditor lists are up to date and updating auditor map
- Periodic check to see if Find the Recycler page on SERI’s website is displaying accurate information
- Task tracking with key partners: ~15% of time
- Following up with Certificate Bodies (CBs) on expired certificates
- Following up with CBs on suspensions >135 days
- Ensuring timely submissions by CBs of NC lists and audit report lists
- Reminders to CBs re: complaints, based on Certification Coordinator’s feedback
- Reporting: ~10% of time
- Prepare Monthly Certificate Report extracted from Form Assembly
- Other duties as assigned: ~15% of time
Status: Full Time, Salaried: This is a full-time position located in India with flexibility in work location. While the position offers flexibility, the candidate must be adaptable to work with people from other time zones.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in an administrative position and a college degree with education relevant to the specific job responsibilities. This position requires work communications through phone, email, texting, instant message, etc. An independent person with work discipline who is eager to learn, and grow is needed to be successful in this organization. The candidate will possess many, if not all, of the following specific skills/attributes:

- 5-7 years’ experience in an administrative position and a college degree with education relevant to the specific job responsibilities
- Previous success in office administration
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external parties through phone, text, instant message, etc. – full fluency in English.
- Other languages a plus

- Aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Highly organized person with a close eye for detail
- Ability to understand process flows and impacts of changes
- Comfortable handling private and confidential information
- Strong skills and knowledge in using technology

SERI Work Environment: SERI is a small non-profit organization with a lean footprint and a global workforce. SERI does not maintain a corporate office, so all employees work remotely. All employees are independent workers that are self-motivated, responsible for their work, and not needing daily tasking and oversight. SERI employees are comfortable working in this “virtual” organization. They have a genuine growth mindset and a willingness to learn that is critical to success at SERI. As a global organization, SERI communicates and meets with people in different time zones and parts of the world. SERI offers significant flexibility in work hours with some non-traditional hours necessary to engage with stakeholders around the world. Employees need access to an environment with ergonomically adequate workspace, Internet, and phone connectivity to perform the job on a daily basis.
Compensation: An attractive compensation package will be provided to the successful candidate commensurate with education and/or experience. This includes an annual salary of Rs. 8-9 Lakhs, a paid time off policy for holidays, vacation, sick days, and personal days as well as a flexible work schedule and location.
